Every time I check into X and look up “$SoFi” I feel like I need to put on a hazmat suit. I’m talking nuclear level toxicity being spewed back and forth indiscriminately and with pure reckless abandon.
Haters on one side. Bulls on the other. People like me stoking the flames for enjoyment (what can I say, I enjoy anarchy here and there).
And maybe a hazmat suit is being too harsh. Maybe the scene you see when you check into SoFi X looks more like Dale Doback, shirtless, baseball hat in hand, swinging it wildly at Brennan Huff who is waving a 10-speed bicycle in defense on the front lawn after having put his you know what on his drum set. The neighbors look on in pure unadulterated terror at the spectacle of two 40 plus year old men trying to maim each other over something so wonderfully trivial.
But seriously, if you’re questioning me on SoFi just log into X and see what I mean.
Or better yet, read on. Because I’m going to tell you all what SoFi is worth using words and terms that even Brennan & Dale should be able to understand. Back of the napkin math on what I think it’s worth, the main bear arguments, and how SoFi is building an Amazon Prime style model of finance.
