Moments of clarity. They come randomly. Sporadically. And sometimes painfully. And while I don’t make the 5 mill that Jay Z does from this Substack (yet), I feel these bars. Write something extremely nuanced, intelligent, witty, and deep? Or write something that moves the masses? That is my eternal struggle.

But why not both friends?

In a world of discounted cash flow models, complex trading algorithms, and candidly pure financial nonsense cobbled together by hack AI regurgitators the one thing I’m striving for here is to hit you in the soul and to spur your curiosity. And yes to provide banger ideas that win. And the winning has been good here for the community, both to the long side and the short side.
